Our jam-packed, 9-month Assistant Training Program is designed for newly licensed stylists ready to bridge the gap between beauty school and a thriving career. This paid program offers hands-on experience and real-world education that will set you up for long-term success—whether you dream of renting your own suite or building a fully booked schedule in a salon.
Program breakdown
Three Phases of Growth – The program is structured in three phases to ensure steady progress in technical skills, business building, and confidence behind the chair.
Blonding & Extension Training – Work alongside experienced stylists specializing in all things blonde while mastering the latest techniques.
Social Media & Client Growth – Learn how to market yourself, attract dream clients, and keep your books full.
Personal Mentorship – The unique opportunity to assist Blonded by Janelle for 9 months, gaining direct experience from a successful stylist.
This is a W-2, paid part time position at minimum wage, providing both education and income while you level up your skills. If you’re serious about launching a successful career in the beauty industry, this program will give you the foundation you need to thrive! At the end of the program you should be booking out on your own 2-4 days a week.

1-Month Intensive Assistant Training Program

✅ Three 6 hour days/18 Hours/Week of Hands-On Training – Work closely with an educator at Modern Mane, gaining invaluable salon experience.
✅ Blonding & Extension Education – Learn advanced techniques from expert stylists specializing in all things blonde.
✅ Color Theory & Formulation – Gain confidence in formulating, understanding different color lines, and perfecting your application techniques.
✅ Weft Coloring & Customization – Learn how to personalize extensions to create seamless, natural-looking results.
✅ Social Media & Client Building – Master the art of attracting and retaining clients through strategic marketing.
✅ Business & Career Coaching – Get the tools to set yourself up for success, whether you plan to rent a suite or grow in a salon.
